What’s Required From You

All our copywriting projects start with the Story Map research process. As every good copywriter will tell you, good research is the secret to effective writing. The Story Map process is designed to pull together your story, your customer’s story and your product’s story. Where possible we’ll interview you as the business owner, but also any business partners and two or three customers.

The Story Map interview process typically takes around two hours for you as the business owner, and around 30 minutes each for everyone else. (This is a only a rough indication).

Based on these interviews we’ll mock up an outline for the fifteen emails. Once the outline is approved we carry out all copywriting and implementation work. We’ll also configure Google Analytics or Wicked Reports to measure responses to your emails.

What’s Included

  • The full story map transcripts and story strategy (this is a valuable document you'll use for years into the future)
  • Emails written and implemented in your current email system
  • As many edits as you need
  • Basic training on how to analyse your email results
  • Prompt service. We aim to complete all projects within three weeks

What Isn’t Included

  • Any work on your part besides time for the initial interviews.
  • Ongoing Facebook ads management (we'll setup you initial ads, and we can make relevant service recommendations if you want help with ongoing management).
  • Additional components, for example lead magnets. You can request a quote for additional work.
  • Conversion tracking must use native functionality in Google Analytics or an equivalent system. If you need more sophisticated tracking (e.g. call tracking) this can usually be quoted for, or relevant service recommendations made.
