“I’m Rob Drummond, an email marketer with 12 years’ experience in CRM systems and copywriting.” You’d have yawned in my face, and that would have been the end of the conversation.

The trouble is, I’m much more than that.

I’m a husband. I’m an archer. I’m a stoic Northern Grump. I’m a sports fan. I’m a barefoot runner. I’m a traveller. I’m a student of history, sociology, archaeology and literature. I’m a binge-watcher of documentaries. I’m a binge-listener of podcasts. I have an eclectic taste in books. I’m a deep thinker. I’m a drinker of craft beer. I believe in small business, and open collaboration. I believe in sharing, rather than hoarding. I believe human connection is the fabric of life, and the essence of good marketing.

More fundamentally however, I’m on a mission.

I’m on a mission to help people who do great work tell better stories about what they do. To help people like YOU build profitable, long lasting relationships with your customers. To help you leverage the one asset NONE of your competitors can copy: your story.

You’re in the right place if you sell high value, high trust products and services. If people have to trust you implicitly before they’ll sign on the dotted line. If people have to get to know the real you before they’ll buy. If what you do isn’t as simple as saying “I’m a plumber.” Or “I’m a caterer.”

You’re more unique – and more valuable to the world – than you can ever realise. It’s time to communicate your value to the world by telling your story.
